About Us

Our History

Capitol Starter Service Corp was founded in 1993 by Bette Middlebrooks and her late husband, Harold. With their combined experiences in the trades, they brought a solution to the railroad industry by providing a starter service that was both efficient and robust.

Now, we pride ourselves in being woman-owned and bringing a family atmosphere to the workplace. These things have attracted highly-skilled employees that bring years of trade experience that allows us to continue our highly efficient and robust processes and solutions for the modern demands in the railroad industry.
